Source Policy

Source Policy

Attribution, evidence, and source hierarchy.

Herald Express relies on attributable source material, public documents, official records, direct statements, high-quality reporting, and openly inspectable links wherever possible. We do not fabricate sources, quotes, or evidence chains.

We prefer primary documents and official records when they exist, but we do not treat official claims as self-validating. Powerful institutions are examined for incentives, omissions, and contradictions just like all other actors.

When source material is incomplete, disputed, or weak, readers should be told. Source transparency is part of the reporting itself, not just a footnote.
