The Ministry issued the clarification to State Governments and Union Territories, emphasising that workers whose e-KYC verification is still pending retain full entitlement to seek and obtain employment opportunities. The directive urges administrative authorities at the state and territorial levels to accelerate the completion of pending verifications.
The VB-G RAM G platform serves as the integrated database for registered workers under rural employment guarantee programmes, consolidating worker records across jurisdictions.
The Centre’s communication stressed that procedural delays in biometric or demographic verification should not become barriers to employment access for registered workers.
