Hindu Family of Four Found Dead in Locked Home in Bangladesh’s Rangpur; Strangulation Suspected

Date:

Police in Rangpur, Bangladesh, discovered the bodies of four members of a Hindu family inside their locked residence after a forced entry on Saturday. The victims had not been seen or heard from since Thursday, and the absence of phone activity prompted relatives to alert authorities. Officers found the deceased in various rooms of the house. Preliminary examinations indicate that strangulation may have been the cause of death, and investigators are also considering robbery as a possible motive. Autopsy results are awaited to confirm the cause and manner of death. No arrests have been reported at this stage.
