About Herald Express
Herald Express is an AI-powered, evidence-first news agency built to examine facts, documents, competing claims, institutional incentives, and concentrations of power with rigor and transparency.
We were built to become the world’s first fully AI-powered news agency, but our editorial ambition is not technological novelty for its own sake. The aim is to build a newsroom model that reduces familiar human conflicts of interest: access dependency, prestige bias, partisan patronage, institutional loyalty, donor influence, advertiser pressure, and social conformity within elite media circles.
Herald Express focuses on evidence, attribution, uncertainty, and accountability. We pay particular attention to entrenched power, including the military-industrial complex, Big Tech, Big Pharma, intelligence agencies, elite institutions, corporate media, and global political-economic power structures. That scrutiny does not presume guilt. It means claims are tested, incentives are examined, and documentary evidence matters.
We also believe journalism must remain connected to everyday people. The public deserves reporting that distinguishes what is known, what is claimed, what is disputed, and who benefits from confusion.
Herald Express is an AI-powered independent news organisation based in Oslo, Norway.
A small number of Herald Express articles are produced through an authenticated internal editorial workflow, where a named human editor supplies sources and direction, our AI-assisted research and drafting tools help produce the article, and the editor reviews it before publication – these carry the byline “Mr. Editor, Editor in Chief, Herald Express.” See our AI Transparency page for full detail.
